Nice atmosphere

I was with my family (6 people) at 6.30 p.m. to eat at Alt-Stieghorst. The staff is very friendly, attentive and quick. The food (Förster-style schnitzel) was very tasty, also a visual treat! The Corona rules are consistently implemented. The way I deal with my three-year-old grandson is also to be rated positively! When his glass broke, the damage was quickly and calmly repaired. Overall, the restaurant is recommended!

As usual, the food was delicious, only the service could have been a little more attentive. I admit it was pretty full and apparently only 1 person was responsible for outside. In any case we will be back.

We had reserved lunch for a funeral service for 22 people. Ordered 2 dishes, salad and dessert in advance. Unfortunately we got a rather strange combination of a lot of rice, cut schnitzel, chicken fillet with sauce and sauce for the schnitzel. Everything served on plates without decoration and measured sparingly. No vegetables (apart from the salad beforehand) or other side dishes apart from the rice. We had to ask for fries and potatoes, which came after 15 minutes. Water was not refilled, drinks were only queried once, everyone sat in front of empty plates and glasses. At the request and after discussion with the owner in front of the guests, a couple of half schnitzel were delivered much later. At dessert they asked if we had ordered it ... At the price per person for the "buffet" calculated for this disaster, I don't say anything here. In any case, it was far more than the price of a meal without drinks. Conclusion: the food is delicious, but the staff overwhelmed and the owner uncritical.

Nice that there is Bielefeld ? We were served exemplary. Although it was well filled, there was hardly any waiting time. Food good German and delicious. Perfect. Always happy if I'm in Bielefeld again.

Good middle class restaurant. No more and no less. The food is delicious, without a lot of bells and whistles, but a little more spice here and there would not be bad. The first drinks were served quickly, but then was no longer asked if anything else is desired. Too bad, since the service started quite well. I would not like to say anything about cleanliness and order. It could be a little better. Conclusion for us: from time to time to eat you can eat the restaurant, but for more it is unfortunately not enough.

10 minutes until someone came for the drinks order, another 20 minutes until the drinks arrived, as well as the menu. After over an hour and 15 minutes still no food on the table, clearly not enough staff! The food can taste so good, but it does not work! According to the wait staff, "the kitchen does not have as much capacity as there are people" and "reservations go ahead". If you know in advance that you have a big company plus regular guests, you have to hire more than two waiters, have a closed society or just inform the guests that it takes a long time today. Unfortunately eating is not fun, we will not be back.

Everything about very, very good. A big compliment for the service. The food was delicious. And the price for a hamburger schnitzel with fried potatoes and salad of 10.90 € can not really complain.

Very nice restaurant. Food was good. Unfortunately the staff was overwhelmed as well as the kitchen. The boss should have used more staff, the restaurant was very busy. Staff was still very friendly. I really enjoyed it there, in contrast to our class reunion 8 years ago

We went just for a drink before catching the nearby tram so not able to comment on the food. Good selection of beer and wine and the staff were both helpful and friendly. Prices were reasonable and the atmosphere was relaxed. This place seems to be very popular with the older generation as there were several groups enjoying the food on offer. This maybe because it was late afternoon and midweek.

Really good local pub/restaurant, Best Chef for miles.
